Jack was part of the MAESSR team at the Bark in the Park in Williamsburg, VA
First, he had to help Kim set up:

Then he had to visit with Lee, Mary, Pepper and Sandy Beach.

Then he found a tree that had to be climbed! And, yes, he did it by himself.

This little tree proved a bit harder.

After school today, it was straight outside for Jack!!

Then it was straight to the tree that Jack wants to climb.

He's convinced he can get up there.

With mommy's help, he can.

Wait! Jack needs his jungle hat!! Get it. I'll wait.

All better!

April 27, 2006
We did some gardening. Jack got a little wet helping me water our plants.

Here is Jack flying like an Archeopteryx.
"Jack be Archeopteryx." His words.

Our butterfly bushes look rough now, but they'll be in soon.
I returnd those Scotch Brooms to store after I read that they are invasive, toxic and highly allergenic.

It had to happen
Well, it had to happen.

Jack had a horrible day at preschool.

Check the check marks on his form.

He had tantrum after trantrum; hit another boy; wouldn't listen.

Just a rough day to be Jack.

Jack discovered my hunting vest and insisted upon wearing it to bed.

April 23, 2006
While I was tearing through the basement, Jack had lots of fun. He started by coloring;

playing with tops;

hanging out with "Boo (good) boy" Jeremy;

playing trains;

and just having fun.

I am not sure what's funnier, the lengthy process of Jack going through the dog door or the fact that the sliding glass door was wide open?

April 22, 2006
While I was tearing apart the basement - again - Jack found my karate belts. He insisted on wearing them.

This last picture is Jack in the closet under the stairs. He told me that he was flying in space.
Recently, Jack has told me frequently that "Jack be astronaut" "Jack fly rocket moon"

Jack played Superbubu again tonight. Only this time, there was a switch. Jeremy and I had to dress up with him. It was hard to get Jack to slow down to get a snap of him. But, even Superbubu needs to take some time out to keep up on his reading. Other than that he was running around the house shouting, "Help People! Save Day!"

April 20, 2006 - Evening
Jack being a superhero.

Now, use your imagination a little bit, but Jack is being an elephant.
The pajama top goes on first and the sleeve hangs over his face as his trunk.
Then the pants go on and the legs hang over the side of his head as his ears.

April 20, 2006 - Day
Today we went to the Maryland Zoo.
The animal pictures are for Jack's benefit. He likes to look at them.

Jack has discovered the map. He even got the idea that what was on the map meant where we were in the zoo.

I am Lord of the Monkey House!

Walking through the zoo.

Self-Portraits are tough.

I don't know. I don't think that a Polar Bear trap can hold our Jack!

When we got home, Jack had to play with his little animals and talk about what we had seen.

Just in case you were wondering, Jack was not being naughty.
I said no to standing on the garden. I said nothing about standing on a chair.

April 18, 2006
Playing in the backyard - wearing his "Jungle" hat.

April 17, 2006
Playing outside with his new kaliedescope in his garden.

We had a laid back Easter.

Really, Jeremy was not trying to steal Jack's donut

Jack shows me his alternative to using the car seat.

April 15, 2006
We said our good byes to Vegas and headed back to Laurel.
The roses bloomed at the resort while we were there.

The Las Vegas airport has Dine-doors!!
